Privacy Policy – Bible Quiz

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Bible Quiz (Quiz da Bíblia) collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Bible Quiz collects information in two modes depending on how you use the app.

1.1 Offline Mode (no account required)

When you play without signing in, all data is stored only on your device:

Game progress (levels completed, scores, achievements)
In-game username and optional profile photo
App preferences and settings

This data is never sent to any server.

1.2 Online / Multiplayer Mode (Google Sign-In required)

When you sign in with Google to access multiplayer features, we collect and store the following in Google Firebase:

Display name and profile photo URL from your Google Account
Google Account UID (unique identifier)
Friend list and friend codes
Match history (opponents, results, scores, coins earned)
Online / offline presence status
Multiplayer statistics (wins, losses, season points)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

Enable online multiplayer matches and friend discovery
Display your profile to friends and opponents during matches
Maintain leaderboards and match history
Show your online / offline status to friends

      We do NOT use your data for advertising or profiling,
      and we never sell it to any third party.
    

3. Third-Party Services

Firebase Auth Cloud Firestore Google Sign-In Google Play Store

Online features are powered by Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), operated by Google LLC. Data stored in Firebase is subject to Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

The app is distributed via the Google Play Store. No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are integrated.

4. Data Security

We enforce Firestore Security Rules to ensure each user can only read and write their own data. Your Google credentials are managed entirely by Google Sign-In and are never stored directly by this app.

We regularly review our security configuration to minimize the risk of unauthorized access.

5. Children's Privacy

Bible Quiz is suitable for all ages for offline play. The online multiplayer feature requires a Google Account, which Google restricts to users 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the online features.

6. Your Rights

You may sign out of your Google Account at any time to stop data syncing.
You may request deletion of your data stored in Firebase by contacting us at the email below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and inside the app. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
